Times are changing

In a world that is in a constant state of flux; we find ourselves asking is there anything that we can trust in? Is there anyone we can believe in? This has been a year of change.

We started this year with ideas of where we would be at the end of this year.  Where would we live? What kind of work we would be doing? That fact we as a Human race like to plan things out to the point that nothing is left to chance. Most of us would consider ourselves as Captain of our own ship. The sad part is that most who say that they have Yeshua as their Messiah think the same way.

If we call ourselves people of God then why do we put everything before serving YHVH, the King, if He is our master then why do we treat Him worst then a hired servant.

Our hired servants we give a wage, food and at times transportation and yet when it comes to serving the King, we give Him the crumbs of a piece of toast if that. How dare us for treating Him in this manner. You may ask when have done this?

Mal 3:8-12 Will a man rob God? You are robbing me! You say, “How have we robbed you?” In regard to the tithe and the special offering.  (9)  You are being cursed since all of you, the whole nation, are robbing me.  (10)  Bring the complete tithe to the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Just test me in this, says the LORD of Armies. See whether I do not open for you the windows of heaven and pour down blessing on you, until there is more than enough.  (11)  I will restrain the devouring swarm so that it will not destroy your produce from your soil. Your vine in the field will not be without fruit, says the LORD of Armies.  (12)  All the nations will call you blessed, because you will be a delightful land, says the LORD of Armies.

This is the verse that most Churches use to bring more money into that church. When they get more money what do they do with it?

Do they take care of the widows, the fatherless, the poor or the stranger that is within their gates? Sadly, no they do not.

Then what do they do with the money? They build bigger churches that will hold more people so that they will be able to get more money. It is a vicious cycle that never ends.

Where are we to lay the blame? Is it the leader of the flock? Is it the Deacons or Elders? Partly yes and partly no. The blame falls mainly on the sheep for they should know better. On the individual side, think about the good you can do if you start and really take care of the Widow, the fatherless, the poor and the stranger. How much of an impact just one person could make in their community. I know that goes against what we have been taught but it needs to be done. It does not matter what denomination you are in because, in the end not one person from the local church will be there with you in front of the King.

What does this do with the way this started and the way it is ending. If we were to love our neighbor as we love ourselves then most of the problems that we face today would simply disappear.

The reason for this would be that we are doing the Kings wishes and living a Kingdom lifestyle. Once we get that in our heads then most of the problems that we have we will see that we caused them. If we disobey His laws, then what we are saying is that we do not serve Yeshua as said for us to do. He said if you love me then we are to do what His commandments said. (paraphrased). Joh 14:15 If you love Me, keep My commandments.

In another place He said.

1Jn 1:5-9 And this is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.  (6)  If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.  (7)  But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.  (8)  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  (9)  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we are not living in accordance with what He spoken through His prophets that is the Torah, then what makes us think we will do all that He says then? Yeshua said that can a rotten tree produce good fruit, or can a healthy tree produce rotten fruit? Neither can a wicked man produce good fruit for the only thing in him is evil. As time goes on, we will see which fruit is good and which is not.

If we are not bearing good fruit, we need to ask ourselves this question, who are we serving?

If we are saying that we are serving YHVH then we need to see what we are doing to produce bad fruit. Pray and seek His face to see where we could improve our servitude to others. If we are not putting others first or are we putting ourselves first. Then we need check our spirit and bring it to YHVH and let Him prune out the wickedness from our heart.

Even though I have been on this road to the Kingdom for many years. I still find myself needing to bring these things before YHVH to purge the dross from my heart. I want Him to only see His reflection in the silver and not mine.

He says to seek first the Kingdom and all these things will be added to us. Then we can love YHVH with a clean heart, and we can love others as He loves us.

In conclusion as the Master wants us to love Him with all of heart, soul and all of being and to love one another as He has first loved us. If we do this, then none of the penalties will apply to us. This is what Yeshua said that on these two commands rest all the law and the prophets will be fulfilled. Then we will be considered as David. “a man after His own heart”.

Blessings to you and your family. May YHVH show you grace and may He cause His face to shine upon you in all that you do.
